The H23A DOHC VTEC engine only came with an automatic 4WD transmission - though you can swap the transmission with any other F/H-series tranny, of course.
The H23A DOHC non-VTEC engine was only available with an open differential.
The H22A DOHC VTEC engine was available with an open differential, a limited-slip differential, or an ATTS active differential (which won't work in a non-ATTS car).
The H23A DOHC non-VTEC engine was only available with an open differential.
The H22A DOHC VTEC engine was available with an open differential, a limited-slip differential, or an ATTS active differential (which won't work in a non-ATTS car).
