d16z6 valve cover .... silly though, when your VTEC is not a performance feature of your car.

Because it's an HX.

It's for fuel economy. It's not pointless. A d16z6 valve cover says VTEC on it.

pointless? guess again. If you say an HX is pointless, then an EX is pointless as well, because 99% of the parts and specs are the exact SAME.

I'm perfectly aware of what a roller rocker is

It's pointless because this guy is not Bense. I'd be willing to bet he's never changed his oil, let alone built a hybrid motor or hybrid transmission. Mentioning how he could build this rediculously nice sohc turbo build is off topic, and beyond his scope. This is a guy who's wondering what he should get besides intake and exhaust ...

He asked about a valve cover, and as his car sits, his VTEC-E is not a performance feature. So the roller rockers only "kick ***" in getting him good gas milage.

V-tec E is Economy V-Tec. It's like anti-V-tec. It dosent give you any added power. If saves you gas milage. It's nothing to brag about

rockers won't line up. in the sohchond thread I linked I talk about doing this. basically using the intake rockers, shaving some excess metal off and mechanically locking them into place.

then place them on a H-U-G-E aftermarket z6 cam and you got VTEC KILLAZ y0!
