Default stripped oil squirters

i just got a call form the machine shop..they told me they where gonna hot tank my ,motor and had to remove the oil squirters. but in the process of removing the screws the threads came out wit the screws..and said it can not be fixed..is this true or they tryin to bullshit me cause they want me to bring another block down like i can pull on out of my ***..i need help i saved up for this motor and the past and now they are tellin me its no good

that is hella Fu Ck'd up ****, I think they should be held liable for whatever they screwed up on at their machine shop

im not sure they just told me it cant be fixed..but other people told me the should be able to tap it with a reamer.....

There is not heli-coil kit for that size. Have them tap it to 1/8 pipe and plug them. Unless you are going to boost to 30 PSI.

plugging them up is fine......lots of other honda engines run without oil squirters with no problems.

the squirters are there to help cool the piston down...so they may run a little hotter than normal but nothing that should cause an engine falure unless you plan to boost the **** out of that motor on stock pistons.

I plug my oil squirters in all of my blocks. I also run forged pistons.

You will still be o.k. As long as you don't run the motor super lean or boost the crap out of it.

just block them off. I run my turbo motor with blocked off squirters.
