Stripped oil jet threads? Please HELP!
Ok so my builder put together the block without the oil jets installed....so tonight I went to try and install them while the motor is on a engine stand and I was on my back under the motor. I got 2 in ok, but the other two I thought were threading and I went in the first few (maybe 3-4 threads) and then felt it getting tight too fast.
I backed out the bolts and the threads were definately cross threading...now I have NO idea what to do. I can't believe a experienced builder wouldn't have thought of this. What can I do? I might try a thread chaser but I am not sure this is going to work at this point. What happens if no oil jets are there and the hole is left wide open?

how will I plug them if the threads are messed up?
I was on my back because it I turned the motor upside down it would be harder to keep the bolts inthe socket without falling out?
