my crx is acting up bad!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!
i have a lets just say almost mini-me swap done my setup is 88 si intake manifold
91 si tranny my head n block are 95 single head vtec. ok for it i have a vtec controller installed and a MSD installed with internal coil. alright my problem is that sometimes the car backfires like lets say 5 times at normal idle but my idle is set at 1500 rpms so the car goes down to like 1000 rpms after that happens i cant rev pass 3000rpms i had once a problem but the car i turned it on and wouldnt pass 3000rpms so i brought to my mechanic and he changed the throttle body he said it was the sensor behind the throttle body but with the problem i have now i can just turn the car off n start it again n it runs fine so i donk know what could it be if my vafc is connected wrong or the MSD is acting up?

Check your vacuum routing at the MAP sensor. Hell, check the MAP sensor. Some say these are different, and if I were you, I'd make sure I was running an Si PM6 (IIRC?) MAP sensor.
Getting any codes?

(If I Remember Correctly) 'IIRC'.
I've forgotten most of this stuff, so just keep bumping it until someone who remembers what they're doing comes along.
