Restart of B16 A2 rally civic
Hi there,
I write to you from France.
I just restarted my B16 engine after having lowering the head by 0.5mm (0.02"approx) and replace my camshaft by Ek9 ones.
The motor start nearly instantly - running fine below Vtec engagement point - but loose rpm as soon as I reach the Vtec point.
I don't have yet the adjustable camgears and for the time being the inlet gear is 1 tooth in advance where the exhaust gear is also 1 gear in advance.
I put the ignition timing in the same place as before(thanks to marks).
Fuel pressure is 40 PSI approx.
And the ECU is a genuine MUGEN GrN.
Any is idea about my trouble?
Do not hesitate to contact me for more details.
Thanks in advance for your precious help.
Chears,
Nico.
2nd attempt:
I manage to set the timing properly IN/OUTLET synchronized @ TDC
Still a small drop at VTEC engagement point but if I step on without wondering, the engine go smooth to the red rev range.
I imagine my question missed some:
****
damned
bloody
and so many small 'bla I never understand on US forums.
So gents,
pick one **** in my list
You may didn't know what a B16A2 is
