Default Engine Check Light

my problem is when i start up my civic it turns on but then idles then dies unless i push on the gas pedel. when it warm it runs fine. the ecu tells me that its the MAP sensor...but its plugged in but im not sure if it works...i tried everthing...switching intake manifolds...ive tried two 92-95 civic manifolds but the only one that seems to work is the 90 crx manifold...but it still dies...i did everything right but nothing seems to work...if anyone has any suggestions give them to me...please i need help...thanks

check if you have a vaccuum leak or go by the book and check voltage at the sensor..could just be a bad map

Test the resistance of the sensor with an ohm meter, if the reading turns out good then check your wiring. If all else fails buy a new map sensor.
