injectors or fuel filter
I have a USDM 99 ITR in my civic, and recently when under 4000rpm or light throttle, theere is a sputtering, coughing, and when in neutral the car will slowly die. It starts back up, and evrything seems fine, until you go underway again. Wondering if it would be the fuel filter or the injectors to replace, or if it would be anything else. On the way home, I bought injector cleaner, and it helped a bit, but the coughing and sputtering is still present, but not as much. thanks
it is all stock. Stock computer (p28) but running through a VAFC, but with no changes as of yet.. I bought the car the way it sits, and havent had a problem until now. Where is the fuel filter, on the line or is it attatched to the sump? So along the line or in the tank? thanks
also another question for a first time honda owner. what is the rubber hose off of the back of the intake manifold. it has been blocked off, and a cansiter has a line cut, looks like same line, and other side of canister( by firewall) connects to line underneath car, which is by, or is the fuel lines.
