running without a fuel filter?

Default running without a fuel filter?

my buddys eg coup with a b20 has no fuel filter... could this cause a small hesitation whe on partial throttle?

no, but it can cause the injectors and fpr to get clogged on stop working.

why is there no fuel filter? there like $10 tell him that thats the problem so he will go buy one!

Yeah, tell him to get one. It's not that expensive.

damage has already been done if its bogging/hesitating. injectors are probably already clogged. tell him to flush his injectors, and buy a fuel filter.. why would you not run one??

Yeah, fuel filter is pretty cheap, however knowing how the fuel filter is setup on that car I can't help but think someone hacked up the hard feed line and and the rubber line from the filter to the fuel rail in order to run without a filter.
