It'll work, but throw a code, lemme see if I can find a solution.
http://www.pgmfi.org is down, but they usually have a jdm ecu auto to manual in their wiki,

Hi
Have one more Q... On the JDM B16 it does not have a map sensor on the TB, Do you know if the JDM's have one on the firewall or do they not have one at all? Thanks

I used a auto p30 for a year with no codes of any kind. The rev is limited similar to a p28 & 7200-ish rpm. You can tell that the fuel settings are not correct but if you do not push it too hard, you should be cool.
Been using a USDM manual p30 for a while now. It made a noticable difference in the way my engine runs. Much smoother.
My jdm auto p30 will be on its way to Phearable.net soon for manual conversion and chipping.

Thanks for that info. I may just buy an usa P30 Cause i like for it to run smooth. On the map sensor that goes on the firewall what sensor should i get from what car? Will any firewall map sensor work? i found one from a D15 civic will that one work? CAn you get me the #'s off of your sensor? Thanks again for your help.
The reason I bought a USDM P30 was because I live in a state that requires it to pass inspection/smog. If your state does not have smog requirements, you could find a manual JDM P30 for a good amount less, or pay someone like Phearable.net to convert your auto P30 into a manual P30 w/ the correct fuel map. I believe it costs around $100.
Best of luck to you!
