I drive a 99 Civic Si with a LSVTEC and GT2871R turbo. My problem is the internal wastegate on the turbo sticks out too far and will not allow the AC fan to be put back in the car. The only low profile ones I see are the universal with fin through hangers. The problem with that is the factory fan bolts to the condenser and to the frame. The condenser itself has to no way to be secured to the frame without the fan attatched to it. Any ideas would be great. I also asked this in the Forced Induction forum...I wasn't sure which was more appropriate. Thanks for the help.

 

what i did on mine is cut the fan out of the fan shroud, leaving the brackets.
