Fan not working?
My 99 prelude SH the fan won't turn on except when I turn the AC on.
Manual says that to test the fan, rev the engine on 3000rpm and hold it for 10 secs and fan should turn on and mine won't.
I only heard it once when i drove the car for 5hrs.. Anybody has same probs?

i have the same problem but with a 93 si vtec h22a1. i have ac so i have both fans. my cooling fan wont turn on. only my ac fan turns on. wen i turn on my ac. the fan kicks. and wen i turn off the ac. the ac fan would kick on to cool the motor too. so my ac fan is my coolin fan and ac fan. wierd huh? i just never had the chance to check it out. but best way is to jump it. jump it by the battery.

check the thermostat fan switch. it is the part that the green connector plugs into on the thermostat.
if you want you can jump that connector and it should keep your fan on while your car is on, so at least it won't overheat.
hope this helps

Are you talking about the AC fan or the engine fan? Does the car get too hot or overheat?
