3 angle valve job.

Default 3 angle valve job.

can someone expalin to me exactly what a 3 angle valve job is, n what it improves, etc?? thanks.

Agreed. Its just using 3 different angles on the valve to direct airflow. 5 angle valve jobs is where you see increase on a built head and motor because the transition from the first valve cut to the next is more gradual and smoother compared to a 3 angle job.

this is wrong, a three angle valve job consists of 3 angles on the valve seat not the valve its self

Thats what my boss told me, and his been working with cars for 30+ years, so i dunno . But wouldn't the valve itself have to be cut the same so it would seat properly when it's closed??

no, because the first angle on the 3 angle is a 45 so it seats perfectly
