Default just did auto to manual swap, linkage question!

hi guys, i did the automatic to manual swap, but my linkages seem to be too free, i can move the shifter around in a complete circle in nuetral and whenever it is in gear i can move it left to right, it also is not shifting smooth as in a grid pattern, i heard this could be the bushing that are supposed to go inside the shifter, is this true? any help is appreciated

i had that problem too, i replaced all the bushings for the shifter and the shift linkage where it hooks to the tranny... no more sloppiness sometimes it also depends on how tight you make the bolt where the shifter bolts to the linkage try tightening that a lil bit..
