Default skunk2 dual bend shifter owners

I put my skunk2 dual bend shifter in today, and its HELLA stiff. the throws are very short but its VERY stiff. Does anybody have a picture of how it's connected with the linkage?

Did you overtighten it?

You over tightened the bolt that connects the linkage to the lever.

I'm scared if I loosen it a bit, the nut will fall off. Did you guys use all of the hardware that came with the shifter?

Screw - Washer | linkage | Shifter - Washer - Spacer | linkage | Nut

Yup Ive had mine come loose twice but it starts to rattle before it falls off.
I would put the washer on the nut side since thats what will loosen.
I try to make mine as tight as I can without the shifter being too stiff. Throw some grease in there too.

Yes its perfect. Very notchy and direct. Make it really loose and give it a try. Note the difference in stiffness. Then find a place in the middle by tighting the nut and testing the shifter. And like I said use some grease on the friction points.
