Default Need help Choosing a Turbo

I recently bought a Used Greddy sohc turbo kit and it took a **** oil was comming out of the damn turbine, i had oil in my IC Piping i even saw that turbine not spinning while the car was on once WTF. i kinda want to use the same Mani but dont want to rebuild this turbo cause i heard its better off just buying another.

Any one have some suggestions IM doing a Sohc build the guy i bought it from it buying it so im looking for a turbo Below $500

Anything would help i still want to use the Greddy Mani motor is a JdmD15B

i know the garrett gt28rs and other gt turbos that have the t25 flanges works with the manifold but i'm not sure how deep your pockets are.

LOL how much are they i dont need the Best turbo on the market i just need a good and reliable one that bolts up to that manifold

what about something like a 14b off a 1g DSM? that should fit the greddy mani right?

What bolt pattern should i be looking for anway since im using the greddy mani?

How about the GT28r?

That's the turbo that Edelbrock uses in their kits. You may even be able to find it for cheaper than this, I've seen them go for less than $700 brand new.

You could look for a used one, I'm sure you could pick up a used one for less than $500 easy.

Yeah they do. The flapper is built into the turbine housing. You can have it welded shut if you want to use an external gate.

talk to ken from phoenix (sp?) turbo or turbo elements. they might be able to help you.
