Help: 1999 civic sohc greddy turbo kit ?'s
hey guys im new here to this F-I forum, i currently have a GReddy sohc turbo partcial kit ( turbo mani, turbo, and down pipe) My question is where do i tap a oil feed fitting for the turbo? do i have to drill into my block for that? b/c the guy that i bought the turbo kit from couldn't find that fitting for me b/c the entire motor was out of the car in a shop, so they probably yanked parts they needed and sold whatever they could. I've also looked into the GReddy's oil pressure sandwhich plate from importparts.com: http://www.importparts.com/sho...=2536 will i be needing this?? Any pix of u sohc greddy turbo kit owners out there showing how u hooked up ur oil fitting would greatly help. RECAP: all i have is the turbo mani., turbo, downpipe, oil line from the turbo but MISSING THE FEED FITTING. also the turbo has a water line, where would i tap this to? thanks

oil feed- behind ur block above the oil filter. u will see a oil pressure sender. remove that for oil feed. go to tunertoys.com and get the adapter for it.
water line- connect coolant feed to the TB and return to the mani. thats what i did
good luck

my solution is going with this oil pressure sandwich adapter from importparts.com, my reason is b/c i will be needing 3 ports for oil pressure sensor, turbo feed fitting, and my oil gauge and all three ports are there.
Here's their link its cheap http://www.importparts.com/sho...=2536

get a tunertoys block fitting from tunertoys.com...goes right into where the pressure sensor was for about 20 bucks and can hook up all the **** you want ( i have the same one and have the sensor, turbo, and gauge going off it like you want)
