Default upgrading clutch question

im planning to buy a new clutch disc, do i have to buy a new preesure plate with it too, and do i have to go resurface the flywheel?
the reason why im planning to replace the clutch is my car will not go to any of the gears.
does anybody know where to buy the axle bushing that goes into the tranny my intermidiate shaft is leaking from there. or is there a part number for honda to go buy it.

car- 99 civic sedan ex
motor - B18c1 OBD1
tranny - Y80 gsr tranny

I thought the pressure plate comes with a clutch when you buy one? You'll wan't to replace it.

You want to resuface the flywheel or get a light weight one. I'd also replace my water pump and timing belt as well.
I don't know what you prefer to do though, you know, if money permits and all.

Try this site for the axle bushing -http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/jsp/mws/PartsSearch.jsp

well, while your planning on the down time, it might be nice to knock some things out while you have off work, school and just are in the maintence mood. But yeah, changing the timing belt is not at all necessary for a clutch install. God i hate clutch installs.

umm...if your trannies not going into gears...i dont think its the clutch, more like a tranny problem. if it goes into gear but doesnt drive then ok its your clutch.

No bad clutch can cause your car to not go into gear. If its warped really bad it can make it hard to go into gear.

it is more non frequent than frequent that a bad clutch will cause ur tranny not to go into gear....

It's usually not the clutch that causes that...

I'm having a similar problem and I'm about to take my damned car to the shop.

It's my TOB/TOB fork. The thing won't return. Something you might want to look into.

I can go into 1st-5th without the clutch pedal and the car won't stall or move.
