Default getting code 67 for having no cat? what to do?

I recently purchased a 02 type s and 3 days after driving it around the check engine light came on. When i jumped the service connector to get the code it was #67 which stands for "catalytic converter below threshold.." or something.

I jacked up the car and lo and behold in place of a cat is a test pipe.

Now the car doesn't seem to have any ill performance effects because of it but is their anything like an o2 sim or something i can do to get rid of the light
( I tried the ecu reset)

thanks

wrap some tin foil around it, and let it hang outside of the cat, then get a bolt to plug the whole, trust me it works. you might want to ziptie the sensor somewhere though

diy o2 sims, go to auot zone and get the 18mm spark plug non-fouler. theres a DIY on ephatch.com or k-series.com you might want to take a look. the tin foil sounds half assed. do it the right way the first way.
