Will unplugged secondary o2 affect performance?

My secondary o2 sensor(in the cat) broke and I was wondering if running with it unplugged will hurt performance.

make sure the hole is plugged up. even with it plugged up like that your motor is gunna run rich

I've been told that only happens with the primary o2 sensor unplugged.

i hear the cat O2 is only to tell if your car is running OK, ie hte cats is not broken.

but i could be wayyy wrong...

you will probly get a engine code without the sensor though.

The ecu will throw a code if you unplug it. Take it out but leave it plugged in. If it reads atmosphereic air it will think the cat works great. You can plug the hole with an old school big *** spark plug.
