Default seperate fan to cool turbo setups?

does anyone have a setup where they have a fan wired to a switch that they flip that sits in front of the turbo and cools it...if so can you guys post sum pics and the name of the fan, im interested in doing this...also is it possible to the fan up on a timer..kind of like a turbo timer but a fan timer?
