Here's a thought, why don't you just keep the car, buy a motor and build that motor then drop it in your car when it is done?

try autotrader...you can really narrow down what it is youre looking for and usaually see what the car has to offer. beats looking through countless local autoshoppers and classifieds

I happen to have an electron blue Si..... I have a built b16a jdm motor with gsr tranny and full race turbo kit ( hasnt even been installed yet), and i am looking to get rid of my car motor and turbo set-up........ If you have a stock Si swap with a reasonable amount of miles i would be interested in trading my turbo built motor and turbo stuff as well!!!! let me know if your interested.... you can also email at got_h22@yahoo.com this is my buddies account so i cant always get on here!
Later,
Josh

I'ma bit confused you say you don't have the money, and you can't get the money..

So why are you so interested in performance upgrades (building hte motor) rather than just getting the motor to be reliable??

ur like ur outta money, but lemme soup this 00 si up, just get the si so it's running reliability, remember the three things reliability, expense, and power, right now you should be concerned with reliability and expense..power should come last...

Of course everybody's going to jump all over me for this so whatever, and be like go buy JDM headlamps, that's step #1..., most important piece right there for horsepower

but my problem is not i dont have the money or cant get the money but i need something else to drive while i park the si...

i have money and have no problem gettin the money maybe u didnt understand how that was said but i meant i have no problem with the money or gettin the money...sorry to confuse ya

i know the three things about building a car...trust me i have looked into the costs for over a year now and i'm gettin serious about parkin it and building it but i need a car to drive while i do that, cause not only does my car need a motor built but i do need to have body work done...living in lexington you get alot of dents and scratches you dont want...hints me saying a "clean ride" i want it to look good not bodykits and **** just a nice new paint job w/all blemishes fixed...this is goin to be expensive and time consuming and that is why i need another car, cause i have to get to school and work...and no JDM headlamps and all that **** will come after the motor is built to my liking and even then all i may do is JDM headlamps, fog lights and type r rear lip my main concern is motor and power and reliablilty

Yeah, as long as you have SOME jdm products (ie. headlamps, lower lip) you've squeezed the most out of ur I/H/E
