Default my car wont start, non-engine problem my key is stuck

well i was cutting open bokes at work with my key (the beater so its cool lol) and it got bent, so what do u do when ur key is bent and the car is worth less than the shoe ur wearing? u hammer it back into shape................................ok so i looked at the key and looked like it warped in my mind i say (oh ****) then i say f it try to turn that mother ****** in the ignition key broke, towed car home etc etc. i want to drive this thing not must just want to, is there any alternitive starting methods, btw this is a 1987 200sx

i posted on nissan forums bu they wer like hotwire it!as soon as i said how? they said i dunno ask a theif then i said how the f would i find out if sum 1 is a thief, ya thats the only reply i got

hotwire it!

actually this happened in my civic, i just replaced the ignition switch its pretty damn simple

edit: for my civic: Remove the black plastic housing that goes around the blinker, wiper stalks, and ignition. You will need a dremel to cut a slice in the top of the left over bolt heads that secure the ignition. (can also use sharp needlenose pliers to turn) Then use a screw driver to remove the bolt. Disconnect all wires and it's out. Order new bolts or reuse the ones you cut and reinstall.

try to jb weld the key together and then into the ignition. you'll never lose your key, but u would have to find something else to cut open those books.

since its a beater anyways if u dont really care bout it

well its kinda hard to order parts no1 likes the s12 for some reason how can i hotwire it?
easy way? idgaf if i have to hotwire it everytime i drive it as long as it moves, anyways i have the pink slip so if an offcer of the law pulls me over show that and the registration

a lock smoth should be able to pull the key put for around 10 dollars... and then have that lock smoth make you a copy of that key for 1.50. and bam,your set
