I'm buying a b16 bloack and it comes with crank,pistons,rods,oil pump,oil pan, b16 cams, and i think its either gsr or b16 cams. Is that a complete block? And other than a head and an ecu what else would I need to swap this into a civic dx? Any help would be great. thanx

 

well..all depends on the car its going into..but im assuming its out of a car with a d series..so ul need a b series trans..and axles..and motor mounts..and prob other things ppl will tell u..

 

Besides a head you need all the accessories - alternator, distributor, intake manifold, fuel rail and injectors, various sensors, etc. Then you will need a B series hydro tranny, axles, shift linkage and proper OEM mounts to get it bolted in. For all of these parts (in most cases), none of your D series parts will work.

 

thats a alot u will need. its better just to pick up a complete swap. if you start getting all the parts its gonna cost you as much as buying a whole swap
