02 Wiring Color - Yellow From Harness Right?

02 Wiring Color - Yellow From Harness Right?
Just swapped motors and am a little confused on the wiring that goes on ontop of the tranny
the only wire I have that I can see that is unhooked is a yellow wire that comes out of the harness above the tranny
The only connection I have is my 02 sensor, which is a black wire,
Do these 2 go together? I have the extend the yellow (if it is there right wire) to make it to the back of my downpipe

yellow? Im thinking thats a backup switch wire. white is the c16 o2 signal (sometimes has a black shielding).

Well I had a bunch of butt connectors there just above my tranny, they all went together mint and I only had a yellow left with no connector

was your car an auto? i got the same yellow wire and it goes to the toque converter lockup solenoid on the trany.

No its manual, I check the harness today, the wire is definetely not yellow, its like a creme colour, cleaned it and it stayed the same, I figure its the right wire since there are only yellow and green coming out of that loom and its just sunfaded...?
Another question, this wire no longer had the plastic connector on it so I just cut the connector off of the other wire and solderred them together, this is a 1 wire 02 so thats no problem right?
