How To: Bixenon Control Harness 56k bye bye
I seen alot of Diagrams and Pictures but no real detail how to make a Bixenon wiring harness. So i figured y not do another write up for you guys
Supplies
3 1n40001 Diodes
1 2200 uf capacitor
1 440 Ohm resistor
1 30 amp automotive relay 4 or 5 prong
4 12" strands of wire. multi color helps reduce confusion
4 Female spade connectors
1 ring terminal
Wire strippers
Crimpers
Soldering iron with Rosin solder
heat shrink various sizes
electrical tape
In this write up here are the pinout and wire colors
Pin 30 Black wire.
Pin 85 Green wire
Pin 86 Red wire
Pin 87 Blue wire
Pin 87a Is not used!!!!!
Step 1
Cut 4 pieces of wire 8-12" multi color is best to not cause confusion.
I crimped each wire with a Female spade connector.
the ground wire got a ring terminal installed on it. Do not make the ground wire no longer than 12"
I also installed heat shrink over all the terminals to add more protection from the elements it will be exposed to.
Step 2
Get out your wire strippers. Move to where ever you want to splice into on the wires. and be sure to leave a good section exposed. You will have to do this on every step Until you finish things up.
Step 3
Take your capacitor and connect the negative side to Pin 30 and the Positive side to Pin 85. Now solder your connection and be sure that it has a good bead and is strong.
Step 4
Take Your 440 Ohm resistor and Connect it to Pin 30 and Pin 85 The same Pins as the Capacitor. Once again solder your connection.
Step 5
Take one of your Diodes And connect it to Pin 85 (Green) and Pin 86 (red). Dont forget solder
Step 6
Take one Diode and Connect it to Pin 86 (red) and Pin 87(blue)
[Step 7
Take a diode and Connect it to Pin 30 (Black) to Pin 86 (red). dont forget to Solder
Step 8
Now your Done. Just need to do a little added security and clean it up.
Step 9
Take some electrical tape and tape up all the Diodes. This is just added security so these wires do not contact one another
Step 10
Take a Large Heat shrink tube and slide it over the harness and hit it with a heat gun or Torch. this gives more protection while still maintaining a clean appearance.
Step 11
Wrap Some Electrical tape around the heat shrink to close up any openings.
Step 12
Now Smoke a Cigarette and go install that SumBitch

The Retro fit MIGHT make up for you not doing a write-up on the fog light retro fit. But you'll always be docked points in my book for that. I'll give you $200 to retro fit some fogs in my OEM fog light housings.

the main reason i didnt do the write up on the foglights is because I wanted to be original. i have yet to hear of any one to do it. i searched for hours online and not one find. so i wanted this to be something for me. cause so many civics are the same. i just wanted 1 lil thing to make me stand out from the crowd. I might consider doing some retro's in the future.

what do u mean "when you find one for our head lights"?
I have 3 relays to run my Bixenon, ballast, and foglights they are all gonna be mounted in a weather proof box that i picked up at a local parts store.
