i can describe the noise and problems, but dont' know what this is....
ok my car, the previous owner, installed a stage 2 clutch.. the other night we went to track, afterwards and since then, sometimes when i start to rev i notice now at 4grand plus it feels funny, almost like i'm in too low of a gear, and when i shift i can hear a psshhh, almost like something spraying similiar noise during the shift, little rattling noises and whatnots, but i never noticed it before, exhaust looks fine, i thought maybe something had came loose, but i'm not sure what to think of it, i'm thinking maybe something near clutch
Could be an exhaust leak. They sound like a hissing/spitting sometimes. You might be losing some low end torque if the leak is large (that's why it feels like you're in too low of a gear). The rattling could be a sign that something's lose, or a seal is broken, or something cracked.
On a clear day, start the car, let it warm up and try to be near the car in the front underneath and see if you can smell exhaust fumes near the front.
