Guestion about coolin fan not working after swap.

Default Guestion about coolin fan not working after swap.

On my dx motor the coolin fan temp sensor is at the back of the block i am puttin in a 96 ls motor and it dosent have the sensor there can i run the wires from the back to the thermostat housing will that make my fan work?

where ever the coolant sensor is, just hook the fan up to it. doesnt matter where it is on the block. all the sensor is is a thermo switch. when it says turn on, the fan will turn on. location is unimportiant.
