i double checked the tps wires at the sensor and the ecu.cause he is useing a harness from a dohc zc which at one time was from a dual point motor.so in all honesty i think if he got a si ahrness and we rewired the vtec and kock sensor it would run right.i got another guy with me he cant figure it out ethier.and he dione and had more b16s then i have.so???

Have you checked the volts going to the TPS .5 and 5 WOT (something like that) When I swaped mine I ran into a similiar problem. We had two wires on the dizzy backwards. I wanna say it was blue and blue/yellow or yellow and yellow/blue, dont quote me on that I dont have access to my car right now. The wires were crossed and no codes and no go. We switched them and it was fine.

I did one that was off a tooth and sounded just like the original poster said...worth a check especially if it was never touched

check the timing. A timing light is easy to hookup and easy to do
