Default car runs like ****. plain and simple..... ****.

Like the title says my b16 runs like ***. I start it up and proceed to drive and it feels like it doesnt want to rev, than like stops revving at like 5 or 6ish.. then when the car heats up it just feels like it doesnt want to rev at all. Then once it starts getting real hot it just wants to die. I have to rev it up to like 2 and slowly ease out the clutch, even then it just wants to shut off immediately. Any suggestions? Anyone have this problem before?

sounds like you have either a vacuum leak or your vacuum lines are mixed up. i had a vacuum line that wiggled loose during a hard beating and the car felt very slugish and while idleing it would drop revs or stall out. here is a link to the uk honda sites workshop manuals. look around and you will find your car witht he b16 and some vacuum daigrams. this page helped me big time!!!http://www.honda.co.uk/car/owner/workshop.html

Nah my vacuum lines all seem fine. I tried a different ecu and its doing the same thing. Think the purge solenoid has anything to do with it? Distributor?

vtec spool code..Im gonna go crazy on the vaccuum lines tonight and make sure its not that. Maybe the map sensors shot and its not throwing the code? Im gonna try my obd0 dizzy and ecu tonight too maybe its just the dizzy.

Yea i wire tucked and boosted it butttt it was doing this before i started the work and i was in too much of a rush to fix it back then. So now its time to fix it, its gonna be a lot harder with all the work ive done.

I also took out that charcoal canister and my purge solenoid isnt hooked up, would either of those have this effect?..

thanks guys keep em the suggestions coming!

the purge only throws a code on obd-2 and the canister will not effect the way the car runs. if its any sensor it should throw a code. i would really check the timing. you would be suprised what 1 tooth off would do. also since your boosted have you had it tuned?
