I need to take off these two bolts from my old proportioning valve and put it on the 4040 valve so it'll fit on the firewall mounts. For some reason the one on the 4040 is too short and won't fit..I've tried everything I could get my hands on, torx screws, screw drivers but I can't seem to find anything that'll fit properly..

 

you need a tamper proof torx or just dremel out the center and use a regular torx.

 

that tool is kind of hard to come by. Just use a dremel to slice it, and use a flat head to get it out.
