Simple Exhaust question?????
Which exhausts on the market are 2.5inches or more...w/NO bottlenecks...and about how much are they..and where can I get it?
Type One, Kakimoto...any others?

Well if you are running a cat then out of the two you suggested only the Kakimoto will NOT have a mismatch at the B pipe. The cat outlet ID is 2.5" or 63.5mm. The Type One 2-1/2" cat B pipe inlet ID is 57.5mm but it is the 2nd largest B pipe inlet of any off the shelf cat back system I know of, with the Kamimote being the largest. Most of the 60mm systems will have an ID of about 2-1/4" (57mm). Now if you plan to run a test pipe your 2-1/2" test pipe outlet ID will be about 2-3/8" (60mm) which is closer to the ID of the B pipe in the Type One (57.5mm), but still a little bigger.

That's up to you, but if I purchased the Type One I'd still try to make the B pipe match the test pipe. I'd say 85% of my customers don't do anything about the mismatch when they install a 2-1/2" cat to the stock ITR B pipe and that bottleneck is 1-3/4".

What will be your setup??? The TypeONE Racing Exhaust can handle up to 300whp NA setup. We have tried a lot of exhaust like HKS,Greddy, RS*R, Apexi, Amuse...etc. but some of them loses low end or good improvement at low but no major power gains at the top.

but there will be NO bottleneck or mismatching with Kakimoto exhaust correct? it'll bolt right up to my testpipe...
here's a question....either of these exhausts would be better than my apexi n1 wouldn't it....I hear my cams might peak to early and I'll lose up to 8whp or so if I don't change my exhaust to at lest 2.5inch...is this BS?
Yea, but you forget to mention that your 50.8mmOD Amuse is STRAIGHT out with no bend and no resonator. Try to run a 50.8mm OD stock position exhaust and see if you will lose any power!!
Pinhead: You will not have any bottleneck with the Kakimoto R catback. But you will have to shorten the test pipe a bit to have it fit, since it has JDM length b-pipe. You will be surprise how many horsepower you will loss with the bottleneck. I remember SMSP dynoed that he gain around 3whps across the rpm by removing the bottleneck on a Tanabe catback, right? Yes, the Kakimoto R will definitely an upgrade over the Apex'i N1 if you plan to run Spec C!!
