Cruise control question
Lately it seems that the cruise takes a while to engage. You hit set, and the pedal doesn't come out from under foot anymore. I had this problem before and took it to the dealer and they said it was "out of adjustment" Anyone know how, or better yet what they might have adjusted? I'd rather not take it to them again. It was under warranty before. Thanks in advance.
check the throttle cable, it will work itself loose over time and only needs an adjustment. Follow the cable from the body/rotor and you will find a little bracket and two nuts that supports the cable. losen the one on the left first and then tighten the one on the right, move the one on the left more if there is a lot of slack and just a little if.
Thanks for the replies... I'm guessing you mean this cable to adjust...
But what does this cable do? I thought it was part of the cruise control and it looked like that was what the dealer had adjusted as well? Just wondering what it does.
Thanks!!

There doesn't happen to be an adjustment somewhere near the gas pedal is there? Seems I've run out of adjusting room at the TB... so I put it as tight as I could while still being able to have the one nut thread. There's still a small amount of slack left, Haven't test driven it yet to see if it fixed the Cruise issue...
Gracias.
Gracias.
hmm, I have two similar cables coming into my tb. both look the same, and have some slack in them. Anyone know which one I should be tightening? (5th gen ex)
