very common problem ...there is service news and service bulletins on the issue..........
replace the evap bypass solenoid valve part # 17012-SO1-AOO
and replace the 2 way valve as well part # 17371-S84-AO1
Also make sure you do about 5-6 turns on fuel cap
reset the computer and test drive.. also DO NOT overfill the fuel tank when you are gassing up //

. remove the gas cap, reinstall it give it at least 5-6 turns.. clear the ecm,, test drive.. all it might have been is a a fuel cap not properly tightened.. if lite does not come on,,GREAT........IF it comes on again replace those things i suggestred before .. Do Not replace anything till you do the gas cap test first ..

That and be sure you have a good gas cap. If it has an aftermarket cap on it (especially if it doesn't have a check engine light warning message on it) you should put a Honda one back on it. If the light comes back on you can go to any shop with a smoke machine to check for leaks. Please just don't throw parts at it if the light comes back on, you need to diagnose the system propperly to keep from wasting your money in the long run.
dont forget about the cvs valve and the canister, these are very common. You should check with your dealer, they may be covered under warranty since there is a bulletin on them

P1456 means the gas tank isn't airtight. Usually the gas cap, but it can be other things.
Maybe the cap's gasket is bad, even though the cap IS tight?
Leaky hose connections at the filler pipe?
Leak where the fuel pump flange is bolted to the top of the tank?
Finally, as a last resort... there's a pressure sensor on the fuel tank which the ECU uses to detect these problems.
The Helm repair book has a really nice detailed section for troubleshooting all of this.
