CEL CODE: P1071

I just recently got a P0171 code. I don't know what it is but the CEL goes on and off with the code as it pleases. What is this code and what does it mean? How do I fix this problem?

P0171 = fuel system - too lean.

Maybe fuel pressure is wrong (check FPR)? Maybe an injector sticky or clogged or something?
