ground wire sparking!!!!!!!!
well frist off its my girls eg hatch with a y8 turbo and last nite as we were cranking it up the ground wire from the body to the tranny started sparking! i double checked all the grounds the are fine! i dunno im at a lose and im at work and bored so hopefully some one has had this problem before ??? anyone know whats going on????
Where exactly is it arcing ("sparking")? From what point to what point? If it close to the ends and it is arcing over to the tranny it could be not only the connection from the terminal point to the tranny but also how the wire is terminated. That is the connection from the wire to that little washer crimp thingy that is attached to the wire. Check that out.

This thing, well should kinda look like that. If the wire is does not have a good crimp to this thing then it will have to arc past it. You may just need a new ground wire(s). They are cheap or if you know what you are doing you can make up some new ones or try to solder the old one.
Get back to me,
Cheers.

It's because that's the ground to the Dizzy. Make sure it's connected snug or else it'll spark. It should be connected to the tranny, my tranny didn't come with the place to put it so I rigged something up.
