my stock ex harness has all the ecu plugs in the engine harness. the si harness i got has only two plugs to the ecu. Problem is i need to take out the remaining plug in the si to plug into my ecu, but that plug carries with it the dash harness? how do i get that plug out, or can i cut the si interior harness and just use the plug?

is the motor from a 99 si or a 00 si? 99 is obd2a, 00 is obd2b. sounds like its a 00 and you need a wiring harness.

it'll be easier to use the 96-98 harness, and run a p30 ecu ( obd2 del sol ) or u can get a conversion harness to obd1 and run a chip p28
