anybody running an LS turbo? if so, what all do you have done?
i have an LS in my 92 civic HB w/ 60K on the motor. i want to get the car into the low 13's on street tires. will i be able to do this as a daily driver and not have to build the motor any? i don't want to be pushing it at all, as this is my only car. what would you guys recommend? FMAX has a kit designed for a 5g civic hatch w/b18b1

Daily driven and 13 sec? Hmmmmm? I guess you could but you would have to dyno the hell out of it and make sure it is tuned perfectly. How many lbs will you be running?
well....that's what i'm asking. i don't know how much boost to run!!!!??? that's what i'm trying to find out. what's a safe level on stock internals? i heard 7 is the max. how much are you running, and what kit are you using?
id stick to a drag3 or revhard kit.

a LS motor can handle 9lbs safely... but id boost no more than 7lbs. you can easily hit 13s with 7lbs. just get everything installed right... have a good free flowing exhaust... and some tuning... youll be good to go. you wouldnt even have to build your motor. thats for later on when you turn into a boost junkie.

I have a completely built motor. Bored, sleved, rods, pistons, blah....I am only running 7 lbs right now but will bump it up to 12 when I get to the damn dyno! Oh, and I'm running a custom turbo system with a T3/T4 turbo.
On a hatch, you will be fast with 7 lbs. Just remember to give it enough fuel (injectors, FMU, fuel pump, SAFC or Hondata).
