I would like to know what they are for also, some clusters don't have them. I do know they have nothing to do with the gas gauge. Try searching gas gauge, I have seen a write -up recently on this subject. A good manual will tell you how to test gas gauge and related components.

yellow/black - seat belt
yellow - power from dash fuse box to VSS and dimming circuit
green/yellow - economy driving indicator

fuel gauge - from sending unit in tank - yellow/white

Can't be HF only, I have an 89 CRX SI and a 91 hatch DX, both have this blue plug but don't think either actually have all 5 wires.

I've searched all over for this information, even in the Honda shop manual. Where did you find this, or did I just overlook it? Either way I'm glad you posted it. Do youknow what exactly this plug does for the automatic seatbelts?
