two days ago i had my seats out to see why the hell the seatbelt light wont go off.. the two wires (red and black) that would normally have a connector for the seatbelt was cut off. so i was like hey let me just crimp them together and no more light. well not the case after i did that light stayed on but now the gas gauge that had never worked was al the way at 3/4 tank. so im guessing the red wire is the gas guage wire because when i put voltage to it itll go straight there....
anyways real question is, coming from the fuel tank there are only two wires well atleast from the top (yellow/green, black/white) which im assuming is power nd ground for the fuel pump, where are the wires for the fuel float, i havent found any other wires that go into the tank so im kinda stuck. wire colors and location would help.
also is this the correct wire for the fuel guage under the seat? or did someone hack up the chasis harness and ima have to follow wires to see?
thanks
