Default Exhaust sizing question

I looked through the FAQs and searched (but the search function seemed not to turn up any results for me )

anyway, I am looking at running a small turbo (internal wastegate) to about 12psi and will probably see 225whp.

I am inclined to run a 3" downpipe and exhaust for the sake of preventing boost spikes or creep, but at this low of a power level, would 3" be too large?

(trying to decide between 2.5" and 3" DP and exhaust system)

Thanks for your advice

basically with a turbo, your exhaust cant be too large. At a low power level, you wont see as much of a gain by running a 3", but it def wouldnt hurt. And if you ever wanted to upgrade, you wouldnt need to buy another full exhaust.
