Default OBD-2 engine swap in OBD-1 CHASSIS ***HELP PLEASE***

OK here's what we got. I'd like to make sure this is all going to work together.

***KEEP IN MIND I DO HAVE 2 ECU's the OBD-2 p-72 ECU that came with the swap and a OBD-1 P72 ECU***

I have a 1994 ACURA INTEGRA RS CHASSIS that I want to install a complete 1996 OBD-2 GS-R swap into. The OBD-1 CHASSIS has a completely UNCUT interior harness but no ENGINE harness.

I wanted to use the OBD-2 ENGINE harness on the OBD-1 CHASSIS with the OBD-1 p-72 GSR ECU and call it a day.....but I'm not sure if thats going to work because of the OBD-2 ENGINE harness...?????? ANYONE????

* I also could try this...use the OBD-2 ENGINE harness in the OBD-1 CHASSIS w/ OBD-1 to OBD-2 conversion jumper harness w/ OBD-2 GSR P-72...???

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...not sure....HELP ANYONE???

u can use the obd2 harness with the obd1 ecu as long as u get an engine harness jumper, it converts from obd2-obd1 ecu. make sure u get the one for the integra harness becuz the civic jumpers are different. should run u around 80-150$

i think his question was can he use a obd2 engine harness,and will it plug up to the obd1 dash harness or should i say the harness next to the shock tower? anyways back to the question, can he run a obd1 ecu if that was the case?

it'll work, but its not plug and play. you'll have to do some wiring.

wrong. The jumpers are identical... And he DOESNT need one.

He won't be using an OBD2 cabin harness... Why would he need the obd2 ECU?

Your OBD2 Engine and OBD2 engine harness will plug directly into your stock 94 (OBD1) chassis/cabin harness. Use the OBD1 P72 ECU (it will plug right in to your chassis/cabin harness. You will need to use a relay to invert the signal to the IAB's (obd1 sends ground, obd2 send +12v)
