i have an obd2 gsr engine, obd2 gsr engine harness, and an obd1 car, would it be easier to keep convert to obd1 or keep obd2?

if u have and obd1 ecu then i would just keep it obd1. add some wires for vtec, iab and knock sensor. i would also get a wiring diagram so that u can wire ur obd1 engine harness to mate up to obd2 distributor or maybe get an obd1 dist. if u have an obd2 ecu. i would use the obd2 harness and get a hasport harness adaptor for the ecu. but then again what do i know im a noob so id see wat some of the pro got to say.

you can use everything from the obd2 motor including wire harness everythin will plug right up..all you need is a obd1 p72 ecu or a chipped p28 you would also have to run wires for vtec if you dont already have vtec and knock and iab...i just did that same swap in my eg hatch last night
