I usually go anywhere between .025-.028

But on that boost setting, .028 to .030 should be ok. If not gap it smaller. You want the biggest gap you can get without having problems.

Decrease the gap by .002 at a time and try them out to see what works best without missing and you want the biggest gap without any misses. For 6-7 psi I would say .030-.032 should be ok. You might want to check your timing as well just to make sure your timing is ok. By the way I gap mine at .022 for 40 PSI so I would say .020 would be way to low and I think stock spec. is .044 not .032 but I might be wrong.

.020 is a little over kill. Do .028 and you'll be good. I had the same thing (ignitino breaking up when they were at .038 so I put them to .028 and it was running smooth.

i wouldnt gap them any less than .027-.028. Remember if you gap them too close the ground electrode will prevent/block the spark from using all of its energy to ignite the mixture. If its still breaking up and its not due to fouled plugs, id look into the wires, coil or into buying an aftermarket ignition system to increase your secondary coil output.
