i dont have nething else to do except get the driver side half shaft and put that back together then ill take it for a drive and see what issues i run into only thing that i can think of that i may have an issue with is the shifter feels tight even in neutral its stiff to move side to side is that normal? and the cluster tach seems to be working ok but the autometer is tripping out it is like at 10 at idle and just goes up and down it diddnt do that when i had the d16 in there i checked the wireing but it was all good ne sugestions on that? thanx again.

The shifter may feel a bit looser because You went from a rod shifter to a cable shifter, and you possibly had loose warn out bushings. However, I'm not 100% sure, but I noticed there was a difference between my EK and a prelude when I drove both. Then I had my bushings replaced and my shifter tightened, and felt similar once again.

yup, big difference in shifter feel, Mines a bit stiff too. As for the gauge, check the wiring, and the ground.
