H22 CRX no fire
Im trying to figure out if I have bad wiring or a bad distributor.
Its a JDM H22 that had a USDM external coil distributor on it. I pulled it from a running 92 prelude Si. I am using a D16A6 harness. I have the obdo- obd1 harness and am using a p13 to get it running before i get my chipped p28. I have switched the main relay out just in case and still no spark. The engine turns over fine, I am getting fuel, but I am getting no spark.
I jumped the wires on the conversion harness and was getting a code 15 but the way its wired now I am just getting a solid engine light, no code. If i change the wiring the code 15 will come back.
Here are some pics ( the ghetto wiring is just temporary until I get it figured out ).
This is off of the d16 harness. Blk/yel and blue.
I have the black/yel jumped to the A+ spot on the coil according to the prelude manual. B- (the blue wire) is going to the blue coming out of the distributor. C (the blue/red) is going to the blk/yel wire on the same plug.
Any ideas? or do i have it right and just have a bad dist? the engine sat for about 6 months out of the car, but ran fine before that.
