Default Turbo s2000 cutting out at high rpm's

i am posting this for a friend. its got the full race gt35 setup....we got it tuned and it ran great with regular ngk plugs but when i put ngk iriduim 2 step colder it seems to cut out around 8000rpms....it starts popping....i dont think it det. though....it has a great tune on it.....he even gap the new plugs tight...anybody got ideas.... its only making 370 whp i doubt he needs to upgrade the ignition though but what do u guys think...

What are the plugs gapped at? The higher the boost the tighter the gap.

Were you careful in gapping the iridium plugs? the tips are very fragile and break off.

im not sure what he has the gap set at ill ask today when we pull them and ill check the iridium plug..thanks for the ideas.....anyone else got ideas

Iridiums have been said to fail at higher boost. I havent expeirenced this yet, but some of the other FI guys have said it.
They all went to copper, changed every oil change.
