Default lug nut bolt stripped

Hey guys. I unfornatly have a stripped lug nut bolt. Has anyone ever replaced them and how do you do it? Ive search and found nothing on this. Any info is great.

Hammer a 1 size smaller socket on there and use an impact wrench on it, it that doesnt work maybe vice grip socket can.

I stripped one of mine nut too and i end up using a drill and drill the damn stud, it work

its been discussed before..

but if youre talking a stripped stud, if its not too bad you can rethread them yourself w/ a tap and die kit..

but its FUBAR, then you can replace it yourself..it involves taking the rotor off and using an impact gun to pull the new stud through the hub..

my advice to you is to drive carefully to a tire shop and have them replace it..it shouldnt be too much

edit: or did you strip the actual lugnut and its stuck on the stud and you cant take it off???

Na I cant rethread it. Its really bad. Is there a way i can pull the whole wheel hub off because its on stands for the moment.
