Default Broke the tip of the lug nut stud off!!!

i know that it its a lot of work to put a new one in, but i already have the stud to replace it. is there a special tool to push the new stud into place? The lud not does go on now but its cross threaded.

u want to take off the caliper and than wack the old stud out with a hmmer.....than u want to put the new stud throught the hole...put some spacers on the outside of the hole and than put the nut on....I always used a air gun for this part......tighten the bolt..losen the bolt and just keep doing that till its firmly in place......I use to work at a tire place and had to do this about once a day

I just had my wheel studs replaced yesterday. 1 in front, 2 in the rear. For the fronts it's a bit more complicated. you have to pull the hub because the lug nut won't have enough space to come out if you try and hammer it. It's really crammed in there. The rears looked really easy though, just like On Point described
