help. strip lugnuts
So, what do you mean? The stud's knurls are stripped and the the whole thing spins, or is the nut seized on there from its threads being stripped? Either way, you're going to need a new stud, if the nut is seized, just put an impact wrench on it and rip the bastard off. If the whole stud is just spinning, you've got a headache on your hands. If you're lucky, you might be able to get a prybar in between the hub and your wheel and then rip the nut off.

I don't know what he means, either. He might even be talking about the outside of the lug nut, the part that the socket/key fits onto, rather than the threads on the inside of the lug nut that screw into the threads on the stud...
